Saturday morning

Another very cold foggy morning - but by the time of 11 yo grandson Nik’s basketball game mid morning the sun was streaming through the windows of the gym at Green Lake. When we arrived, we could not see the lake at all. My favorite part of this lopsided game (Nik's team won) was the reflections off the floor. :-) I Had the 50mm lens to experiment with as it has the lowest f stop and I’m trying to figure out how best to shoot indoor sports occasionally. ...

Looking forward tonight to Seattle Opera's production of Verdi’s Rigoletto, set in Mussolini’s 1939 Italy.

I see that 3 years ago today we were in a balloon over the Nile in Egypt! LOVE that one can look back on what was happening this day in years past!
