In the fog

It's January 25 in Seattle but you'd never know that -people are out in shorts, boats are all over the lake and there are picnickers in the Park.= It's unseasonally warm.  The skiers are not happy.
It was bright sun when we left the rowing dock mid morning…..  by the time we got out to lake Washington, the fog out there was moving in over us to where we’d come….  it’s really so beautiful.    This was taken on the way back looking SE, (there is a single rower in the middle). We kept hearing a fog horn and finally a big yacht emerged from the fog bank - but we were almost back by then so no worries..   I would take way more photos (this is the little sony - no way is the new camera coming in this boat!) but my rowing partner (hubby) can only tolerate a couple of stops for photos!
