Burns Night
Over 250 years on this very day, the Scottish poet Robert Burns was born. It is celebrated throughout the world in various manifestations of the Burns supper. His poetry has universal appeal.
I marked his birthday by a visit to the Poetry Garden in Biggar and a blip of a plaque of a Burns quotation. These lines are from Tam o' Shanter. You probably need to go large.
The shot was taken at the brightest hour of the day.
