Jaggy seed head
As I was meeting friends for lunch today, I spend a micro second longer than I usually do in deciding what to wear. I won't go into details but my legs had to put up with one less layer in taking Cooriedog for a walk. They responded by reminding me what season it was by making passable impressions of blocks of ice. It was bitter and I did not dawdle.
As we were passing a row of dead stalks I noticed something appeared stuck, I went to investigate and ended up with todays blip. A seed head caught by its own spikes.
Lunch (food and the company) was marvellous. Caught up, contemplated much and looked forward. And I'm not just saying that because my lunch companions might be reading this. Honest. Looking forward to the next one.
