The local Facebook group Newburgh Here and Now recently highlight that the local restaurant was excellent but empty! I was quick to mention we should all try to spend more money in local businesses.

So tonight rather than go down to Anstruther for our tea we went to The Ship Hotel Newburgh. We had a lovely meal, the food being a cut above your average pub grub. It was good to see it was busy too and it's good to be surrounded by friendly local faces. We will certainly be back, my mum even asked if they were open tomorrow!
