IPod Touch
Today the star of most of my online photos, the iPod Touch, takes centre stage.
I've owned it for over a year now and we've made a few interesting photos together. In photography it's very easy to get carried away with buying bigger and better cameras for breathtaking prices with the misguided thought that your photos will become equally better. Great cameras in the hands of talented people can make amazing photos but it's not guaranteed.
Rather than jumping on that bandwagon I've attempted to make decent photos (at iPad screen size) using simpler gear. The iPod or iPhones aren't exactly cheap but they lead you to a certain type of photography that concentrates on good composition and a bit of invention ,
Coupled with this I've also been experimenting with simple old film cameras. Buying or borrowing them, the challenge is to push it to the limited of its capability and still get decent photos.
I'm sure old cameras will feature in some blipfotos during these dark cold january but here goes!!
