Bridge on Duchray Water

The River Forth is in its upper stages beyond Aberfoyle and it joined there by Duchray water which flows from the lower reaches of Ben Lomond. The Duchray was quite swollen today and there were signs of rising water near Aberfoyle. This bridge spans the Duchray on the path which leads to Lochan Spling and then on to Kinlochard. There are some signs of the beginnings of forestry work around here today and so I hope another tract of forest is not about to be decimated.
The trees were also very thickly covered in this grey/green lichen
A real mixed bag of weather this afternoon..rain, wind, and sunshine.
