Early bird catches the worm

They say the early bird catches the worm but on sodden wet days like today those earthworms not equipped with sub aqua gear come up for air...and are promptly snatched by the local seabirds who patrol vigilantly...
Took this photo after my fifth social lunch with friends.... It has to stop...or at least slow down.... Have a date tomorrow night so had wanted to impress!! Hope she likes twelve packs....or the promise of a proper diet...just saying....
