Was thinking of a special day out this next week so headed into this seventeen hundred acre park to consider what I could do that would be pleasant and welcome on a cold February Thursday...
Sitting by the aptly named Dog Pond I watched as this boxer throw himself in continuously into the very cold water with seeming abandon.... Much like myself in a conversation I had today... Think the dog fared better than me.... but I suppose I'm like the scorpion in Aesop's Fable The Scorpion and the Frog.... I try to keep my mouth shut.....but the voices in my head force me to spew utter nonsense at times.... pushing the limits...hoisted my my own petard...so to speak....just saying
