Birthday fun!

Mia woke up this morning, completely thrilled and aware that today was her birthday party. We had a small crew this year and kept the food to cake, ice cream and punch and it was a wonderful time! And, since the boys were off enjoying an EWU football game, Mia got in on the fun of preparing for her party. She helped decorate her cake and loved getting in on the action.

While she was sleeping, we got all the decorations up and when she woke up, she was thrilled to find the table decorated and ready for guests to arrive. It was so cute how into the whole event she was.

We played some simple games, had lots of helium balloons with long strings to play with, opened presents and ate lots of cake. She had a most marvelous day. And I'm so so glad! Happy 3 to my precious girl!
