The float decorating crew!

Here's all the people that helped get this little float ready for showing! Tom isn't pictured. He was the driver! But the rest of the crew helped with taping, cutting, analyzing, maneuvering, etc. to get the float together and ready to go. God made sure the rain stopped about 1/2 hour before it was time to go and we had a marvelous, dry time, participating in the homecoming parade.

When it was over, we got to enjoy the traditional bon fire and watch dad participate in the bed races. He won one, lost one, but had a great time! And there was a great turn out for the parade, which was also extra exciting.

On even more important news, our Miss turned 3 today. I can't believe it's been three years since that day playing SkipBo with my Grandma and I realized it was time to head over to the hospital! Mia came super fast and made it just in time to share a birthday with her Great Grandpa, on my mom's side! She never got to meet him, but it's extra special that she shares his day! And, Joshy's birthday comes along on Sunday, so we are having some birthday fun this weekend!
