Goat herders

Spoken to five people today all of whom had offered the same story.about two years ago the govt came in and bulldozed a chunk of the bazaar. The displaced are now scraping a living, more so than before... sadly officialdom and business rarely seem to concern themselves with the welfare of the common folk...

In many ways it's the outageous landscape which I remember. But quiter, where once there was a thriving community living in the ruins they've also been moved on; leaving silences and faint echoes of a more tolerant time. Further afield its still a jawdropping place crazed temples sprouting amidst house sized boulders, words fall short, at least mine do...

Am trying to put some other stuff on flickr but it's not easy...although I may have a cunning plan...
