Torrential rain.

There was torrential rain today, just as I was coming out of the doctor's surgery.

I came home on foot, having to wade through 100mm of of water as the roads had become torrents, mainly because there are hardly any drains on the roads.

I was the only person out walking today.

Once indoors, I had to change most of my clothing, but the fire was raging and the house nice and warm.
