In the pink!

There is not much pink in our house - with three boys, a husband and a male dog I don't get to see much pink. I used to wear pink until I realised that soft pink is just not the correct colour for me. The boys wear pink shirts, and look better in pink than I do. So today I felt in need of some pink...

We had a wonderful reunion supper of mothers from Luke's prep school class last night - it was lovely to catch up with everyone after 5 years. The boys have all grown up now, and are in their final year of school. We compared photos and all oohed and aahed about how much they had changed. One of the boys came to collect his mum after dinner (so she could have some wine without worrying about driving)...that really brought it home, about how much they had grown up!

Tonight we are going with friends to see The Duck House, the new comedy about the expenses scandal. Ben Miller is in it and we so enjoy him. Such a clever man - a Ph.D in physics from Cambridge University and now a brilliant actor and comedian. Thomas has read some of his books he has written on science and really enjoyed watching him in Death in Paradise.
