Pleeease...can we go for a walk?

Do we have to? It is still so cold today - the snow on the ground in Surrey is melting despite snow falling yesterday and a bit today - supposedly too 'warm' to settle. Although this is apparently 'balmy' compared to New York where it is extremely cold, too cold to walk outside. We look forward to the weekend when it is going to warm up after 2 weeks of very cold weather.
