A touch of ....
Just about every thing except rain on this morning's walk!
Returning from a Panto rehearsal last night the roads and pavements were very slippery. Likewise this morning, as we made our way to Moor Edge to start our walk the paths were quite treacherous, but the sky was glowing pink as you can see here looking back along the terraced houses of Moor Edge High Side.
We headed up to Harden Moor as a very misty sun was rising. The paths were a mixture of the usual mud and frost and ice.
There was a scattering of fine snow as here by the standing stones blipped last
Friday on the same walk.
Across the moor to the edge of the fields above the village which was still shrouded in mist.
Soon it cleared and the sun was up back in the village, the smell of stand pies coming from the butchers had us all planning to 'pop back up' for a pie!
