I was easily the scruffiest amongst a squad of well turned-out rondeleurs. I bet they even had clean pants on. I must buy more expensive bike gear when I secure my contract*

By the time we turned for home at Gladhouse Reservoir I was feeling a bit hollow legged, but these fine fellows chummed me back into the city. The sun was out but jings it was cold. I couldn't have enjoyed my coffee and cake more at the cafe.

Later, I did Scouty admin stuff and had a relaxing bath. Tough day ;0)

* It won't improve my fitness, but it's always better to look well turned out when blawin' through yer arse.
