Mud

When I got home yesterday this little digger was working a neighbour's drive a few doors up and there were pallets of paving blocks opposite the house. Later, late in the evening, there were two UK Power Network vans parked up and the crews were obviously working somewhere I couldn't see from my bedroom window. Today, in the rain, the digger has been working in the field while someone was noisily running an angle-grinder. So Mr Poirot, what do you make of these clues?

The story is too lurid to retell here but suffice it to say that nobody has been hurt and power is now restored after the digger chopped through the supply.

Now the digger is working on creating a solid foundation for the cattle pen in the field - note the mud which I'm told isn't deep but just spread out a lot. I'm sure that the rain isn't helping........
