7.2C starting wet then becoming dull and dry. Light breeze.

Apothecary7's day off. Should have been tomorrow. Was swapped for today.
We had our usual day off trip to M&S cafe by City Quay then did more grocery shopping than is usual for such a trip.

Once we returned home Apothecary7 had a haircut appointment locally. Maeve the Deerhound and I went for a walk. There was a large helicopter flying around mostly towards Arbroath. Flying very low. Then back again. Possibly lower. To do with the search for a missing man in Dundee perhaps. Heat seeking equipment aboard. There are news reports of one such in the air today.

Down at the beach there was one other dog walker with dog. They went past towards Easthaven while Maeve and I were right out at the seaward end of the channel though the rocks. It was almost low tide. There were two gulls amongst the oystercatchers. The sea was much calmer in today's variation of dull and dry.

Apothecary7's hair is now shorter.
