Salts Empire

It's views like this of the mill and village beyond that remind me how much more dominant it would have been before the infill housing that now stands. A welcome and massive change for the workers moving from the slums of Bradford when Titus Salt build the mill out in the green fields of the Aire Valley.

A very mixed day of weather, with beautiful afternoon light showing off the sandstone of the mill. 2 hours later I'm sat in the attic in a hail
/snow storm, appreciating that I'm not now outside. Thankfully it's gone as quickly as it came. I had an early trip in to Leeds this morning for a job interview, which went well from my point of view, but was certainly an interesting interview.

Time to go to work now.
