Tad and Frank's first date races by - and for all of Tad's handwringing just a couple of strips ago, look where they ended up! Ah, gay men.

I was fascinated for a long time by couples who weren't sexually compatible - we met a lot of them in the Big City. I think I had a plan that they would be a very ultra competitive couple, which I quickly abandoned (sorry, but Tad is too lazy for that). The college version was much, much more graphic, which the higher ups at the University of Arizona were not fans of at all. Heh.

Also I can't draw cars. I have no idea what those things are they are standing next to in panel 2, but do those look like cars? No, they do not.

The worst offense here is that there's no punchline - I still like the strip, but basically it goes "Here's two tops! They're probably going to do it, but who knows how, right?!" That's...that's not a joke. I just wasn't brave enough to go all the way with it at the time.
