Buskers

After barely doing much these holidays I decided to take the boys out to see buskers.

We walked to town, Kanye in his chair, Harper in front pack and Marley scooting.
We stopped at re start and grabbed some lunch. Marley gave a busker who I think possibly was previously Lord livingstone some money , he was doing the statue act when Mar gave him money he slowly bent down and shook Mars hand, he loved it, he was hooked, he wanted to see more buskers.

We continued walking to Hagley Park after lunch to discover the buskers pitch. It's incredible. They've set it up so well.

Bouncy castles and slides for kids, different stages with different acts, numerous food vendors, some non buskers stuff too like these critters.

There was an area for kids that had various alien type moving creatures.
These ones would open their mouth and you could throw 'food' into their mouths that was being handed out by its keeper.
They had another one shift was an alien eye stalk that retracted into in itself like a turtle. Another one you stroked it made noises. The boys thought they were great.

I let mar have a jump on the bouncy slide then we got ice cream the delicious fresh fruit kind. We had a rest before walking home we were out for 4 hours!! Well worth it though.

The boys were exhausted when we got home so watched a bit of TV. I got a text and Facebook request from 2 of my cousins on my dad's side who I haven't seen in years, was such a nice surprise, I honestly can't remember the last time I saw them must have been when my parents were still together? Surely not that was like 17 years ago ? Hmm I'll have to think but anyways how great to be back in touch again. My family on my mum and my dad's side have fallen apart over the years so I don't see my uncles, aunts, cousins etc except for a few that mum keeps in touch with. I barely see my dad or my grandparents so having some of my own blood relatives to keep in touch with is great!
