Lace and Pearls?

No, spiders web and water droplets in the fog early this morning. Absolutely beautiful array of them on our fence, and on the washing line too. This picture with the bright red of the car behind it won out because of the contrast, but I could have used any of the pictures.

How can a spider weave such a delicate web? How come it doesn't forget the pattern part way through? I shouldn't think the webs caught much this morning other than the fog droplets as they were so obvious at this point in the day. Less so later on when the fog lifted and the drops evaporated.

What a wonderful creation we have around us to enjoy. We should truly rejoice.
