Missed opportunity

Headed out on a bike ride with Steve trying to improve our cycling fitness for the new MTBO season (Mountain Bike Orienteering). One of the bonuses of getting older is we will now be the youngsters in a new age class! Daren't share what that is on the basis women should never disclose their age or that is what an elderly neighbour told me when she had reached her 21st birthday for the umpteenth time.

As we passed by Cawthorne saw an excellent opportunity for a blip - a group of beaters in tweeds with guns and dogs waiting to set off to scare some poor unsuspecting pheasants up in the air to be shot. However........ camera at home! Still enjoyed the ride and company. It is amazing how much conversation fits in to a 2 hour bike ride.

Dog walk this afternoon produced the blip of Pickering Castle - could be a regular feature. Nothing else stood out.
