Emu Letterbox

24th December (emu letterbox)
Up for 6 to have my last surf in
Noosa. We met Carl in one of the car parks before heading out to catch some waves. They weren't the best waves today. It got pretty busy by 8. It was funny as I noticed two good looking guys swimming in the water. Duncan shouted...take this wave! Managed to surf it well. I heard them say 'well, that's embarrassing'. After being cool I was then very uncool and when I grabbed my board to turn it around I snapped one of my bracelets and the beads went everywhere!! Luckily didn't get taken out by any of the waves whilst paddling back out. We walked to hasting street to get coffees. Sat on the beach and watched people getting taken out by waves. Sadly, the waves weren't big enough today. Saw a guy with his canoe with a massive mackerel whilst heading back. When we got back we had a couple of hours before turning around and taking Harvey for a walk on the beach. We went to a different one this time which is near Coolum. We went for a swim after the walk. I got completely knocked out by one of the waves and grazed my knees with the sand!! Would have looked like a bit of a fool but luckily there was no one on the beach!
I pottered around trying to organise myself with everything for tomorrow. Duncan made a yummy mushroom pasta for supper. Sadly he got a fire call so I ate by myself and then cleared everything up before starting on my bag again. Uploaded some of my pictures when Duncan got back. Got to bed at 10!!

Drove past this letterbox all the time, absolutely love it!
