Ghostly Trees...

It was rather foggy and frosty this morning. Not good for driving or getting to work, but rather good for taking photos.

It created quite a different feel to my walk. The only bird life you could see was what was lurking at the water's edge or on dry land. The lake had disappeared and so had the islands on it. There was just a complete blank greyness, very strange and very still.

The sun was desperately trying to push through the fog but struggled. It did give quite a ghostly light as a backdrop to the wooded area of my walk.

I enjoyed the complete change of weather and atmosphere this morning.
