Investigation

Russet investigates one of the smaller holes in the badger sett in the moated field behind the church. It is quite an extensive sett, and it is possible to see their foot marks in the mud around the bigger holes. I always intend to go there in the summer twilight to see the badgers emerge, but haven't done that yet!
The field was enveloped in dense fog as we entered, and then, quite suddenly, the sun broke through and I could see everything clearly, bathed in bright sunshine!
Today has been Tax Return day - I think everyone who manages the HM Revenue and Customs Log -In deserves an instant refund!!
