friday night was a night out with manchester markets team, a long way to go for a drink in a pub. I met some nice people, but spent rather a long time on the train.
Saturday night was the annual NCT potluck supper, with partners invited. we sat down to a formal meal, changing places after each course, all very civilised. Our 'babies' range from 27 to 12, and the first half hour is spent saying 'and how is child A?' this all got too much for one friend , who sadly lost a child 2 years ago, to cancer.
