Great weather for ducks

Another grey day, but spent the morning with my son in the local pool, watching him whilst he did his swimming lesson, then having lots of fun swimming along the bottom of the pool, with him on my back, diving for swimming clams. He really is a dolphin reincarnated in a little boys body. So confident and skilled and still only 7 years old.

Stayed in much longer than expected as every time we looked out of the pool windows the sky was black with driving rain, and really didn't fancy going out in it. We had the obligatory 'prawny' feet and hands, as Jai calls it, when we finally got too cold and got out.

Quick catch up with a friend who was in town for the weekend which was a lovely surprise, then off to help a dear friend get ready for a surprise birthday party for her husband at the Powerboat Club. She managed to invite all his friends and family without him having an inkling. Such a great night, with genuinely lovely people and a couple of new friends made too!

May take a week for my feet to recover from all the dancing though!
