"The Great Puddle Experience"

Despite everything being against us, I managed to get Angus and Audrey up, fed, dressed (Angus dressed himself thankfully) and out of the house by 11am. And it was off to a drizzly cold "Runway Experience" at Manchester Airport to watch the planes take off and land (see pic).

Audrey has taken quite an interest in planes when she sees them in the sky so we thought she might enjoy it. And she did. Although it was a toss up between planes and puddles - as the carpark was full of them. Thank God we took her wellies. I actually think Audrey thought we had taken us to "The Great Puddle Experience" instead!

After lunch, we decided to wing it (no pun intended) and find a pub close to the airport for lunch and landed (tee hee) on The Honey Bee in Wilmslow which turned out to be lovely. And child-friendly (every table had a high chair). Angus and I shared a Sunday Lunch with all the trimmings. Best I've had in ages!

Angus got called into work for an hour this afternoon so Audrey and I headed into town for a mooch. Bought her a model airplane which she pretends to fly (complete with sound effects).

She's been really cute today.
