Sleepover leftover

Tragic, emergency, late-night, blip-snap.

I spent the day finishing clearing, cleaning and tidying from Friday's room-decorating episode.

Then I made beds, cleaned loos, vacuumed, and got ready for 1. a visit from Mum and 2. Tess's friend to arrive for a sleepover.

While Mum drank tea and talked at me I sorted through masses of clean, dry washing and got that out of the way.

Tess and her friend had a lovely evening eating pizza and popcorn, watching Frankenweenie, chatting and playing games. They get on really well and her friend was a perfect guest.

Richard and I watched Stardust - I'd forgotten what a good film/story that is (ignoring the "pathetic female needs rescuing by heroic man" thing... )
