Look what I've managed to grow..

..there were some small holes in the door of the poly-tunnel, and they've gradually got larger. I thought it was Tanni trying to get in, or a small tear where the door panel fixes.

I think I may have found the cause now!! I took some of the early sown lettuce into the tunnel today, and up on the shelf - the 6 foot high shelf - I saw this..

Sowed some Aubergine seeds today, they need to be planted early, as they have a long growing season, and I want to catch the summer hotel trade. I'd like to say I'm growing them for myself, but they are a vegetable that I find very difficult to eat. Tough leathery skins, and soft mushy inners, not for me.. Same with Marrows. Love them as courgettes, raw or cooked, but as marrows, nah... I still grow them though..

I eat everything else I grow..!!

We contacted the vet today and cancelled our appointment for tomorrow because Tanni's paw is looking a lot better. She's still not eating well, but nothing to warrant a 160 mile drive.. Fingers crossed..
