Sucklers

Couldn't believe our luck with the weather today after last night! The bright sunshine and warmth and lack of wind really gives one hope!

Late night last night having enjoyed a friends 70th birthday. Put the joint in the oven and off to the pub to meet friends we hadn't seen for ages. Just wished I had had my camera with me then as there was an old window full of dead pepper plants but the peppers were still glowing bright red!

Walked down the hill to the yard and thought I would show you the last cows to calve with their young. We have separated them from the main suckler herd as the other calves are so much older and would be too boisterous in the yard for them.
