We've spent all day at the beach. Absolutely fantastic. They have sunbeds and sunshades for 100 rupees, about £1.00, you can get your towels from them too I think which saves carting them although we have dispensed with towels and just carry our very light cotton beach throws. Today it was a bit of a Brit enclave, which means it does a nice steak, a good red wine and a lovely clean loo out at the back.
This loo is a marvel, made of plywood with a raised ply floor and a proper sit on toilet - although it's a bucket and chuck it flush system it works. Odour free, it has its own little scented air freshener along with the fresh air conditioning between the partition and the roof and it has electric light for night time use. Great find!
We walked back along the dark beach, with silver waves breaking gently along our way. No moon tonight I think the new one is due around now. We didn't think we would be out so late so we didn't bring a torch but we had our 'country' eyes with us and didn't need one at all.
