Games night?

One game we have enjoyed playing as a family over the past few years is "Ticket to Ride", and thanks to our son and daughter-in-law we have a new add-on set since Christmas. It can be quite strategic at times and you can block each others journeys (and hence points) if you feel like playing that way! Of course Mrs TPV and I never resort to such tactics! Ok - rarely do it to each other!

I wonder in what other ways we as people contrive consciously or sub-consciously to block another persons progress in life.
