Mixed evening. I have been patient to try Jamie Oliver's pop up restaurant at Leichester Sqauare. It was a perfect opportunity to incorporate a meal before the movies.
Met friends at this restaurant. To my disappointment the only thing that was half exciting from my order were the seasoned chips and the delicate way they served their soft drinks. Besides that, the food was extremely bland. As a long time Jamie fan, I expected bit more flair to his meals!
After the meal it was time to emotionally torture myself. 12 Years A Slave is a modern masterpiece however one that is difficult to digest without feeling uncomfortable. Steven MCQueens take on pre-emancipation America left me mildly sick inside. Definitely worthy of 5 badges though!!
