Goldfinch

Feeding on cornflower seeds.

These birds are so skittish in NZ it is really hard to get a decent capture of them so I was pretty pleased to capture him just before he flew off.

I had a day up in Nelson today - nails done, hair done (new colour and length), dried meals purchased - all set for tramping tomorrow. Pack dusted off, sandfly repellent packed.

I'll be out of range tomorrow night so will have to back blip on Monday.

Sandflies and native bush, here I come!
