Detective work

After a busy day to see the folks.

Mum had been getting a Christmas card from a relative,  but she's list her address book and the cards have no return address on it.

She knows some info, a given name, Jean Paton, but she can't remember the married name.  She can't remember the address either, somewhere in Leith?  And was it Jean Paton and her very going daughter who came to my wedding in '78 or was it her granddaughter.  We have a photo of Jean Passion at mum's wedding in 1950 but no idea of her age then.  Born around 1935?

I tried to work out possibilities using my account on Scotlandspeoplw. Usually you can work out quite a bit of family links. But the events are too recent to get access to the certificates so it is guess work.

We gave up. Somewhere in Edinburgh, possibly Leith, my mother's cousin who was Jean Paton is missing a Christmas card.

The mystery continues.
