The build

We have had derelict land behind us for a number of years, numerous plans have been drawn up over time & the council & other organisations could never come to an agreement with what should happen there.

For a couple of moths now there has been quite a bit of activity behind us, mostly diggers & trucks taking rubble away, more recently cement mixers & rollers!

Alfie loves anything conduction, if was diggers at first from been a baby & watching the asda been built which he could see from the landing window. But over time it's progressed to anything motorised really but especially construction, so the work behind us has been a really sense of excitement for him.

Imagine my surprise this morning when I go & put the washing out to see this been built! I shouted Alfie out & he squealed with excitement when he saw it, it's been a source of total fascination all day. Numerous questions about it, him shouting at the workmen from his climbing frame, the fact that he won't come inside :)
