Cruising

Tickly cough MUCH improved today. Really pleased as I really couldn't take another day of a hacking cough! Glad it's the weekend though.

Went roaming straight after work - first to eat (at Wafi), then to do a mini food shop at M&S and then to see the fireworks on the Creek; from the Dhow Wharfage that G blipped yesterday. Had the wrong camera so will have to try again another day; but for now - here is a shot of the dinner cruise boats with Maktoum Bridge (Dubai's first Creek crossing) in the background. It is lit up for Shopping Festival. The boats are lit up like that all year round!

Whist waiting for the fireworks, we used as much as we could of over an hour of international minutes that G had calling our friend Maureen in Newton Abbot! She was going to lose them all at midnight!
