The Pentlands.

This amazing light show greeted us this morning when we took the dogs out. It was too bright to see the screen so there was a lot of guess work in framing the shot, but I seem to have got it about right.

I'm not entirely happy with the processing, but it needs greater skills than I possess to make significant improvements.

On a good note, I have been spotted; the editor of a local botany club magazine saw some of my pictures at the recent exhibition and asked if I had any she could use. I put some from this journal onto a stick and showed them to her this evening, she appears to be delighted. I have no delusions about my abilities, but it would be nice to increase the circulation of my efforts.
