Venture Beyond

Monday our last day in the Lakes. After packing we decided to do a small climb up Glenridding Dodd. It's a gorgeous hill but it's straight up with no respite! The views are worth it. This sheep agrees.

Halfway down we came to this gateway and had the choice of sticking with the original plan which was to go back to the car and drive home, or venture through...

So our little walk became a bit bigger and included Heron Pike and Sheffield Pike and a few more hours than intended :o)
