Walking on Sunshine

The day was gorgeous today; low sun and shadow, air so crisp you could almost feel ice crystals forming in your lungs, your heart pumping all the harder to melt them.

On days like this the clarity is stunning and although I had many choices of photo's, I knew this one was it as I snapped it. The clouds to the right were threatening and as we left the moor the temperature dropped even further, but we were wrapped up and happy to be dry.

I was certain it would snow before we got home but it held off and 4 hours later it's still not here. But it's on it's way and I might finally get to blip some!
