DGMA

A new venture for me today - encouraged by Sarah, who volunteers here three days a week, I joined DGMA - Dumfries Multicultural Association. The Women's Group meets every Wednesday and today and next week we are learning about Food Hygiene. Next week we will sit an exam and (hopefully) get a certificate.

The best part for me was meeting women from different countries, including Poland, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Egypt and the Philippines. Even better, we all brought food to share and some of them are excellent cooks! Just as well we cycled there and back to work off the lunch...
