Slimy

Today’s challenge is slimy, I thought this would be a difficult challenge, but I was surprised to find several slimy things to photograph. I chose this one of the top section of a Hoof fungus; it is like an iceberg with much more below the water level than above. I had to stand in the pond to get this; it was quite deep too. Not only is the bottom of the fungus slimy, the green moss is too; it looked slimier in real life.

While gardening yesterday I found a very slimy toadstool and thought that will do for tomorrow; unfortunately I could not find it again today. A sunny day, warm in the sunshine but still not rising above five degrees Celsius.
