Old Photo

The flight from Alaska to Washington D.C. went fairly smoothly. I had enough frequent flyer miles to upgrade to first class. Regardless, the lady in the seat behind me was obnoxious. She kept adjusting and bumping into the back of my seat. She had her light on longer than anyone on the redeye flight, and when she finally fell asleep, she snored something awful.

My first night I slept at my aunt's house in D.C. I stayed in her guest room and noticed a curled up group photo that included my long deceased grandmother. She's the seated one. I don't know who the woman is standing above her. I remember that she was a big wig in the American Heart Association in her day, so it's likely this photograph was from one of those occasions.

Tomorrow I drive to Virginia Beach with my father and stepmom (5 hour drive) for the wedding rehearsal and dinner.
