Waiting Patiently

This is the cabbages lining up calmly waiting for the bank to open.

OK.. It's not. It is what I call Cabbage Season around here at the moment. Truck loads of cabbages (and leeks) arrive from the farms and the farmers sell them at really good prices.. The Chinese put them outside on the street like this to 'dry' for the winter. It ios just what they do. I seems strange to me. Streets are lined with cabbages and leeks. Restaurants stack their cabbages on the steps outside, the stairwell at my apartment has cabbages. It's crazy to us.. but so normal here.
