Nash Point Sunset
Today was an absolutely beautiful day here in South Wales, so me and hubby decided to head down to the coast for a walk. I decided on Nash Point which is about half an hours drive from home.
There wasn't a cloud in the sky and not a breath of wind either, perfect walking weather and of course great for a bit of photography too. We walked a circular route of about 5 miles which took in the coastal path, which was very muddy in places, Atlantic College and back through the villages of Welsh St Donats and Marcross.
We timed the walk perfectly to take in the sunset at the end of our walk which as you can see, was stunning.
We then decided to drive a little further on, to our favourite country pub the Plough and Harrow in Monknash, but unfortunately a lot of people had the same idea and therefore it was rammed full, with no chance of getting a table for food. So we headed back to Marcross and tried the Horseshoe Inn for the first time. Twas very nice.
Here are some more pics I took of the lighthouse etc
