It is a shame when trees succumb to whatever they succumb to.. these 5 now 4 trees are often full of birds surveying the countryside around them. Positioned at the crossroads of four fields on the top of a hill they must have a very good visibility from atop them. Today there were three black crows sitting here but they took off before I could get close enough to get a good photo.. there is no life in any of the others too so it is just a matter of time until the others fall too I suppose but until them they are a lovely perch and a very attractive eye catcher when the sun is setting behind them!
