Sparkle and sunshine

What a lovely morning for blippers. The frost is making such patterns, and the sunrise was delicious.

I didn't pull over to take any photos on my way to the pool. I just enjoyed the deep reds and interesting patterns in the sky. The pool was warm (so full of the eager January exercise enthusiasts). Crisp and clear morning and a great chance to catch up with the gossip and friends.

A wander round the garden after I'd picked up Sparkie (who has now forgiven me and is sleeping for England). The crazy ladybird is still snuggling in the loganberry leaf ! But it was the frost on the geranium and the sage that really caught my eye.

PS "Manon", the revived production of the Massenet opera is wonderful. The rehearsal was a bit chaotic at times, but the Albanian soprano, Ermonela Jaho, is certainly NOT to be missed.
